Blickling Hall is 14 miles from Norwich city centre. The address is Blickling, Norwich, Norfolk, NR11 6NF, 2 miles North West of Aylsham on the B1354. Brown tourist signed.
Which gates do we use on the night?
Please follow the yellow AA signs which will direct you to the most appropriate entry gate.
Can disabled people park near the concert site?
Parking for the disabled will be close to the South entry gate entry point to the arena. A valid blue badge must be displayed. There will be a buggy service operating from the disabled car park into the concert site. Disabled toilets are provided at the top of the concert site.
How early can we park?
Access to the car parks is from 4:00pm. The arena will be open from 6:00pm.
Is parking free?
Yes
Where do we park?
Parking Stewards will direct you to designated free parking areas within Blickling Park. Please do not park on public highways, grass verges or under trees.
Can we leave our car at Blickling overnight after the concert?
Yes, but it must be collected by 12:00pm the next day.
I have arranged to be dropped off and picked up...where do I do this?
Vehicles dropping passengers at the event will be directed to the drop off point which is close to the South entry gate. If passengers are being collected by taxi or other vehicle these should be directed to the Blickling National Trust Car Park. We suggest that all pick-ups are back by 10:00pm to avoid outgoing traffic at the end of the concert.
Do we bring our own seats?
Yes...you are welcome to bring your own chairs, rugs and picnics if you like. Please be aware however, that for safety reasons you will not be permitted to position chairs or objects which could be hazardous within close proximity of the stage. There will be designated picnic and seating areas on site and the area in front of the stage will be for dancing only!!
Can we bring Chinese lanterns to the event?
No. These are a danger to livestock and a severe fire risk for surrounding standing crops.
Can we bring glasses and bottles of drink?
This is currently under review. You will be allowed to bring your own alcohol but there may be restrictions on glass containers and quantity.
Are there any cash points in the Park?
Unfortunately there are no cash points within Blickling Park, and credit/debit cards cannot be used at the concessions and catering outlets or at the on-site box office, so it is suggested that you bring sufficient cash to cover your expected needs. The nearest cash point is in Aylsham.
Will there be toilets near where we sit?
Toilet facilities are located just inside the main entrance on the West side of the arena.
How far will we have to carry our picnic chairs?
The greatest distance you will have to walk from any of the car parks is approximately 400m over parkland and roadways.
Can we bring a gazebo?
Yes if you pre-book but they are only permitted on the perimeter fence line and should not be bigger than 3m x 3m. The pitches for gazebos are sold on a first come first serve basis and are now sold out for this event. The cost of a gazebo pitch is £20.00 and does not include the gazebo.
Can we bring an umbrella if it rains?
Hand held umbrellas yes. To prevent obstructing the view of other concert-goers, please do not use umbrellas during the performance.
Will photography be allowed?
The taking of photographs for personal use is fine but there are restrictions on ‘professional' cameras being used. There is no objection to pocket digital cameras and mobile phone cameras. High-end 35mm cameras, usually with detachable lenses, would normally qualify as ‘professional' type equipment, and these will not be permitted.
Will we get our money back if it rains?
No....the concert will go ahead come rain or shine.
How will we know if it has been cancelled?
It will be announced on the website, social media, in local media and on radio and TV if possible.
What happens if my tickets don't arrive?
For online bookings you will receive your tickets by email immediately after your purchase. Tickets will be sent from dispatch@tygit.com so please ensure you can receive email from this address. If you do not receive your tickets, please check your SPAM or JUNK email box.
For telephone bookings, if your concert tickets do not arrive within 1 week of booking please inform the Box Office on 01283 841601. There will be a Box Office ticket collection point to the West of the arena by the Main Entrance.
How many tickets are there for the show?
We are expecting up to 8,000 people for the concert.
If there are that many people, how can we be sure to see the stage?
There will be plenty of room. As this is a sloping site all areas of the picnic and viewing area offer a good view of the stage, although you must bear in mind that people may choose to stand up in front of you.
Will Blickling Hall be open to the public on the day?

Can we bring dogs?
With the exception of dogs assisting the visually impaired, no animals of any kind are allowed in the concert site. Please do not leave your pets in your car.
Is camping available on site?
The campsite at Blickling is located within the parkland and approximately 300 yards from the concert site. Friday 10th August – site opens at 12 noon and must be vacated by 10.00 am the following morning.
A portable toilet, water supply and skip are available on site.

Yes, as long as you are able to fully download the ticket PDF, and open it on the screen of your device, the scanners will be able to verify it. Please be aware however that mobile signal is limited at Blickling Estate.

Can I smoke at the concert?
As the event is completely open air, there are no legal restrictions on smoking, with the exception of marquee structures such as the Concert Shop. However, we would encourage you to consider your fellow picnickers before lighting up, and dispose of cigarette ends with care.
What would you recommend bringing?
We recommend bringing appropriate clothing for the weather, and warm clothes even in good weather as the temperature often drops as darkness falls. The concert area and car parks are well lit, but it can be useful to bring a torch to help pack up your things and find your car.
