15 JULY 2021: IMPORTANT NHS COVID PASS UPDATE FOR OUR SHOWS AFTER 19 JULY

If you are attending Classic Ibiza after 19 July, you can now show your NHS COVID Pass to gain entry to the concert. If you do not yet have an NHS COVID Pass, proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test (taken in the last 24 hours) will still be required via a confirmation text message, email or on your NHS App.

Please ensure that you leave enough time for your NHS App (where you will find your NHS COVID Pass) to be verified before attending. You can download it here.

This update is relevant to our shows at Bowood House (23 & 24 July), Burghley House (31 July), Blickling Estate (7 August) and Hatfield House (21 August). You can check out all the arrival and security information by clicking on the venue relevant to you.

2 JULY 2021: CLASSIC IBIZA AT WESTON - WE'RE COVID-STYLIN'!

While our positive talks with South Staffs Council are still ongoing, we wanted to tell you about the safety measures that we need to implement so that Classic Ibiza at Weston Park can go ahead. Although these measures are yet to be finalised, we wanted to share them with you now as we will need your help and understanding to make them happen. Please can you share our plans with everyone in your party.

In normal times we would not dream of asking this of you. Classic Ibiza is about freedom and a sense of togetherness. Unfortunately, these are not normal times, but we know that you are still going to love the show that we have in store for you.

We also know that we can count on you to treat everyone in the Classic Ibiza family with respect and adhere to the measures that we have no choice in implementing. We hope that it doesn’t come to it, but unfortunately anyone failing to cooperate will be asked to leave the concert site.

Headline measures

  • Social spaces: the concert site will be divided into 5x5m socially distanced “social spaces.” The social spaces will be within clearly marked colour coded zones and the arena will be lit with festoon lighting. There will be clear walkways between each colour coded zone.Each space can accommodate up to 15 people. If your group is smaller than this, you will have lots of space! If your group is larger than 15, you will be allocated adjacent spaces up to a maximum of 30 people. Apart from the “Gold Zone” (see below) social spaces will be assigned to you free-of-charge on arrival
  • Testing: We recommend that you go to a community test centre. Alternatively, you will need to show a negative lateral flow test (taken in the last 24 hours) via a confirmation text message, email, or notification on the NHS app. Instructions of how to do your test and how to report your result are included in each self-test kit. Once you have reported your negative test to the government website, you will recieve a text message, email or NHS app notification shortly. Lateral flow tests are available free of charge from your local pharmacy, or can be ordered online here
  • Track and trace: if you are the lead booker, we already have your contact details. However, we must collect contact details for all members of your party. To save you time at the ticket gate, please forward this form to all members of your party asking them to fill it in beforehand. You will also be asked to check in using the NHS COVID-19 app at various points around the site
  • Facemasks: you will need to wear a facemask as you arrive, stand in queues and leave the concert site. You can take them off when you are in your own social space

At the ticket gate

  • Social distancing: you will need to maintain social distancing at all times at the ticket gates
  • Groups [UPDATED]: the concert site will be divided into colour coded zones, with further numbering to help identify the position of your social space. If your group is unable to arrive together, please contact those arriving later with your position
  • Ticket gate process:
  1. Display your negative lateral flow test via text message, email, or NHS app confirmation
  2. Bag check: you are reminded not to bring any prohibitive items and adhere to our alcohol restrictions. There will be a fast-track lane for people without picnics
  3. Search dogs: anyone attempting to enter the site with illegal substances will be refused entry
  4. Ticket check: please have your tickets ready as a print-out or on your phone
  5. Social space: you will be directed to your allocated social space

The concert site

  • Zones: the concert site will be divided into clearly marked colour-coded zones, with walkways in between and the arena will be lit with festoon lighting. On arrival you will be allocated a 5x5m social space within a zone. You can leave to go to the toilet, or to visit the catering and bar areas, but will be required to wear a mask while queueing. If you are attending with children, please ensure they also stay in your social space
  • The Gold Zone: with no dance area this year, the area in front of the stage will be available to purchase for groups of up to 30. You can register for a Gold Zone social space here on a first come, first served basis. All other social spaces are free of charge
  • Walkways: the site will also have a number of clearly marked walkways to access the on-site amenities. Please help our stewards to keep them clear at all times

Toilets, sanitation and litter

  • Hand sanitiser stations: there will be hand sanitiser stations across the site and at each queue point. Please make use of these frequently throughout the evening, including before and after visiting the toilets
  • Toilets: we’ve doubled the number of toilets this year, which will be constantly cleaned throughout the evening. A socially distanced queuing system will be in place with stewards there to help you
  • Litter: it’s especially important this year that you clean up after yourself. You will be provided with a litter bag at the gate and will be asked to take the contents home to recycle

Bars and catering

  • Bars: there will be 2 bars – one at either side of the site. You will not be able to drink at the bar – drinks must be taken back to your own social space
  • Queuing system: there will be a one-way bar queuing system to enable social distancing. You will need to wear a facemask at all times when in a queue

Coach travel

Please hand sanitise before boarding, wear a facemask and socially distance at all times.

21 JUNE 2021: IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RAGLEY HALL TICKET HOLDERS

We are truly devastated to have to share this news, but unfortunately after a series of meetings with Stratford District Council we have made the hugely difficult decision to cancel Classic Ibiza at Ragley Hall on 2 and 3 July.

We have worked tirelessly to fully conform to the Government’s guidelines on social distancing at Ragley. However, because of rapidly increasing infection rates in the local area, the Council have asked us to implement further measures which we feel are both undeliverable in the timeframe and would destroy the Classic Ibiza experience we all love.

We know that this will come as a massive disappointment to you all, especially at this late stage. However, please spare a thought for the artists and suppliers that Classic Ibiza helps to support. Classic Ibiza isn’t just a concert to them, it’s their livelihood. Words cannot describe how we all feel.

If you want to hold onto your ticket, you don’t need to do anything. Tickets for this year’s show on 2 and 3 July will automatically be rolled over to our new date on Saturday 2 July 2022. Alternatively, if you would like to claim a refund, please click here and fill in the form by no later than 5th July.  Refunds will be processed after 5th July and will be received within 14 days. If you do not claim a refund your tickets will automatically be rolled over and reissued in due course.

Please be aware that if a high proportion of people choose to hold onto their tickets, Classic Ibiza at Ragley in 2022 is already sold out. So, if you want to guarantee being there, please roll-over your ticket to avoid further disappointment.

As restrictions continue to lift, we are working closely with local councils to ensure that Classic Ibiza goes ahead at our other venues. We will provide you with further updates nearer the time to each show.

After all the hard work that has gone on behind the scenes to put on an enjoyable and safe event, we are sure you will understand how difficult it is to have to share this news. Still, as someone once said, “the darkest hour is just before the dawn.”

We are all waiting for the Government’s update next Monday about the possible easing of all social distancing measures from 21 June.

As you all know, we reduced audience numbers at all Classic Ibiza venues this summer to help us conform to future Government guidelines, so that you can enjoy the show in a safe environment.

17 MAY 2021: HAVE YOU GOT THE RIGHT TICKETS?

Once again, we want to say a massive thank you to those of you that rolled-over your Classic Ibiza tickets from 2020. With our first concert less than 7 weeks away, it’s now time to double-check you have got the right tickets for 2021.

Following the conclusion of our 28 day refund period last year, new tickets for this year’s show were emailed to you in early May 2020. Please check your inbox and junk folder to ensure that your tickets say:

“Revival Productions Classic Ibiza [venue] 2020 to 2021”

If for whatever reason you do not have the right tickets, please email us here providing details of your order number. Your 2021 tickets will then be reissued to you. Without the correct tickets your entry to the concert will be delayed, which in light of our planned safety measures we want to avoid.

This year’s show promises to be even better than ever. We’ve added an extra hour long DJ chill-out set, performed by Classic Ibiza debutant and former Pacha and Ministry of Sound resident, Jose Luis. And that’s before the amazing Urban Soul Orchestra and Goldierocks take to the stage to perform over 30 house classics, including 17 completely new tracks.

What a night it’s going to be!

10 MAY 2021: UPDATE ON AUDIENCE PODS

With the continued success of the vaccination roll-out in the UK, it is increasingly likely that the Government’s aim of lifting all legal limits on social contact from the 21 June will be achieved.

While the outlook is extremely positive, your safety, as well as that of our performers and crew, remains our number one priority. We will therefore be maintaining certain measures to ensure you can have a truly memorable evening in a safe environment. These include reduced audience numbers, hand sanitiser stations across the concert site, as well as more toilets, with enhanced cleaning, and further stewards.

In light of this positive outlook, it looks highly unlikely that we will need to divide the concert site into socially distanced audience pods. However, we have decided to wait until the Prime Minister provides a further update on the Government’s roadmap in mid-June before making a final decision.

2 APRIL 2021: CULTURE RECOVERY FUND

We are delighted to announce that Classic Ibiza has received a grant from the latest round of the Government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund.

The funding awarded today is from a £400 million pot, which was held back last year to ensure the Culture Recovery Fund could continue to help organisations as the public health picture changed. The funding has been awarded by Arts Council England, as well as Historic England and National Lottery Heritage Fund and the British Film Institute.

We are so grateful to receive the Culture Recovery Grant. It will assist us with the additional costs in providing a safe environment for our amazing audiences and a return to activity for our suppliers, artists and venues. The UK is renowned for the quality of its entertainment sector and this award also recognises Classic Ibiza’s part in that and the cultural importance of what we do.

22 FEBRUARY 2021: PRIME MINISTER'S STATEMENT

We were delighted to hear the Prime Minister’s statement today that all legal limits on social contact could be lifted from the 21 June. This is extremely positive news for Classic Ibiza and the wider entertainment industry, which plays such an important role in the cultural fabric of our country.

The last twelve months have crystalised our view that there is nothing more important to us than the wellbeing of you, our audience, and our team. As we have said previously, we will continue to monitor the situation until the Spring when we will be making a decision on whether social distancing is still required at our shows.

7 DECEMBER 2020: TICKETS BACK ON SALE FOR 2021

We are delighted to announce that tickets are back on sale for Classic Ibiza’s 2021 UK tour and would like to share with you our plans for next summer.

Your wellbeing, as well as that of our artists, suppliers and crew, is of paramount importance to us. We are therefore working with We Are The Fair, a health & safety specialist event company that helps large concerts, like Classic Ibiza, to take place safely in the current environment. We Are The Fair’s CEO sits on the steering group of The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, as well as Public Health England.

While we will review the situation next Spring, we have reduced the capacity of all our concerts so that social distancing measures can be put in place, if they are required. As a result, and because most people chose to roll-over their tickets from last year, availability is extremely limited. Please check the status of the concert that you would like to attend by visiting “Concert Venues” on our homepage.

Further details of our plans are as follows:

  • If social distancing is required next summer, our concert site will be divided into “pods,” where your group will be able to enjoy the concert.
  • There will be a small fee for some of these pods, such as those in the area immediately in front of the stage, with pod sizes dependent on any guidelines in place at the time.
  • If you do not want to purchase a pod, you will be able to reserve one on our website, free of charge, but these will be located further away from the stage.
  • Pod fees will contribute to any additional safety measures that may be required. These will include extra toilets specific to the zone that your pod is located, more regular toilet cleaning, hand sanitising stations throughout the site, additional stewards, as well as staggered entry and exit times.

When the situation becomes clearer in the Spring, we will be in touch to offer you the opportunity to purchase your pod, if they are required.

10 JULY 2020: GOVERNMENT'S ANNOUNCEMENT ON OUTDOOR PERFORMANCES

Yesterday’s Government announcement that outdoor performances can resume from 11 July came as a wonderful surprise to us, as we are sure it did to lovers of live music across the country. 

As Government guidance still remains unclear, particularly in relation to “social distancing” and “limited ticket sales”, we will be standing by the responsible decision that we made in March to delay this summer’s Classic Ibiza until 2021. What a party that will be!

6 MAY 2020: CLASSIC IBIZA 2021 TICKET UPDATE

It was with a heavy heart that back in March we made the difficult, yet responsible, decision to postpone the 2020 Classic Ibiza, in association with San Miguel, tour until 2021.

The 28-day refund period (4th April - 6th May) has now come to an end and your new 2021 tickets have now been sent out to you all.

We wanted to send a massive THANK YOU to the thousands of you that decided to roll-over your tickets until next summer. Your fantastic support will ensure that Classic Ibiza returns in 2021 even stronger and gives financial certainty to our amazing artists, venues and suppliers. What a party that will be!

The new 2021 dates are available now on our website. New tickets will be available in the coming weeks.

We can’t wait until we see you all again, but in the meantime continue to check-out our Facebook page as we will be posting live performances, DJ mixes and play-lists so that you can party Classic Ibiza-style over the summer from the safety of your own home.

We’ve been completely overwhelmed by the response to our sad postponement of 2020’s Classic Ibiza concerts to 2021. From the Classic Ibiza family to yours, we are in awe of the kind comments and emails we’ve received, and of all of the people who have said they wanted to hold onto their tickets in anticipation of next summer’s tour. If you want to keep your 2020 tickets you do not need to do anything, your new 2021 tickets will be emailed to you at the beginning of May 2020. 2021 dates can be found on our website. What a party that will be!

However, in these uncertain times, we completely understand that you may want a refund, which you will receive within 28 days by simply filling in the form accessible here [refund process now closed].

30 MARCH 2020: CLASSIC IBIZA POSTPONEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

In light of recent communications from Government over the weekend, it is with a heavy heart that we have made the difficult, yet responsible, decision to postpone the 2020 Classic Ibiza, in association with San Miguel, tour until 2021. The new dates are available now on our website.

The safety of you, our amazing audience, together with our performers, crew, medical team and the local charities and businesses that we support, will always be of paramount importance to us. We have made this decision now to ensure that Classic Ibiza can return in 2021 even stronger – what a party that will be!

We are working with Tyg Tickets, our ticket agency on the refund process and we will be contacting you directly by email week commencing Monday 6th April 2020. We know how much you all look forward to Classic Ibiza and that tickets can be hard to come by, so your tickets for 2020 will automatically be transferred over to 2021. Let’s face it – we all need something to look forward to! However, you will also be eligible for a refund if you so wish.

After you have been contacted, you will have 28 days to apply for your refund. If we have not heard from you within this time your new 2021 tickets will be issued automatically – you do not need to do anything.

Although this is incredibly disappointing for us all, we know in our hearts that this is the right decision. We can’t wait until we see you all again, but in the meantime continue to check-out our Facebook page as we will be posting archive footage and posts from our artists so that you can party Classic Ibiza-style from the safety of your own home.

We are currently still scheduled to headline several shows with our colleagues at Summertime Live for their concerts this year. Their events run later in the season, including shows in October, and therefore they have more lead time in which to monitor this situation. We will update our website and social channels in due course with information on these shows.
