  • This is an open-air concert within the parkland of Harewood House
  • Seating is not provided so do bring garden chairs and rugs
  • Gazebo spaces are available on a first come first served basis at £20 per pitch, please book online(please note that the gazebo is not supplied)

  • Bag searches and trained search dogs will be in operation at the ticket checkpoints

Where is Harewood House?

The village of Harewood is centrally placed in Yorkshire at the junction of the A61/A659 on the Leeds/Harrogate road.  Harewood has ample free parking. The house is situated:
By car
7 miles from Leeds and Harrogate on the A61
5 miles from Wetherby and the A1
22 miles from York
9 miles from Leeds/Bradford airport
8 miles from the M1
You may wish to use a route planner – the postcode is LS17 9LG, although Sat Nav users are recommended to try LS17 9LQ as this will bring you straight to the main Archway entrance to Harewood off the A61.
By bus
Harewood is situated on two good bus routes:
No. 36 to Harewood from Leeds and Harrogate runs every 15 Minutes during the day on Monday to Saturday.  For more details please call Harrogate and District on 01423 566061 or click here to visit their website – harrogatebus.co.uk

By train
The nearest rail stations are Leeds and Harrogate. Taxis and bus connections are available.

Which gates do we use on the night?

Please follow the yellow directional signs which will direct you to the most appropriate entry gate.

Can disabled people park near the concert site?

Parking for the disabled will be close to the concert arena. A valid blue badge must be displayed. Disabled toilets are provided on the concert site.

How early can we park?

Access to the car parks is from 6:00pm. The arena will be open from 6:00pm.

Where do we park?

Parking Stewards will direct you to designated free parking areas within the Harewood Estate. Please do not park on public highways, grass verges or under trees.

Can we leave our car at Harewood overnight after the concert?

No, overnight parking is not permitted at Harewood House.

I have arranged to be dropped off and picked up...where do I do this?

Vehicles dropping passengers at the event will be directed to the drop off point. If passengers are being collected the driver of the vehicle will be directed to the same point as they were dropped off. We suggest that all pick-ups are back by 10:30pm to avoid outgoing traffic at the end of the concert. Full drop off and pick up instructions will be added to the website prior to the event.

Do we bring our own seats?

Yes...you are welcome to bring your own chairs, rugs and picnics if you like. Please be aware however, that for safety reasons you will not be permitted to position chairs or objects which could be hazardous within close proximity of the stage. There will be designated picnic and seating areas on site and the area in front of the stage will be for dancing only!!

Can we bring Chinese lanterns to the event?

No. These are a danger to livestock and a severe fire risk for surrounding standing crops.

Can we bring glasses and bottles of drink?

No.  It is a condition of the Premises Licence that no glass and cans are permitted on the concert site.  Please decant all liquids into plastic containers before arriving at Harewood.  You will be allowed to bring your own alcohol but there will be restrictions per person.  As a guide we would recommend a maximum quantity of the equivalent of one bottle of wine per person or four cans of beer. Neat spirit will not be permitted.   Please note that we reserve the right to stop excessive amounts of alcohol being brought onto the concert site.

Are there any cash points at Harewood House?

Unfortunately there are no cash points within the Harewood Estate and credit/debit cards cannot be used at the concessions and catering outlets or at the on-site box office, so it is suggested that you bring sufficient cash to cover your expected needs.

Will there be toilets near where we sit?

Toilet facilities are located on the concert site.

How far will we have to carry our picnic chairs?

The greatest distance you will have to walk from any of the car parks is approximately 400m over parkland and roadways.

Is there camping onsite?

There is no camping onsite at Harewood. 

Can we bring a gazebo?

Yes if you pre-book but they are only permitted on the perimeter of the site and should not be bigger than 3m x 3m. The pitches for gazebos are sold on a first come first serve basis. The cost of a gazebo pitch is £20.00 and does not include the gazebo.

Can we bring an umbrella if it rains?

Hand held umbrellas yes. To prevent obstructing the view of other concert-goers, please do not use umbrellas during the performance.

Will photography be allowed?

The taking of photographs for personal use is fine but there are restrictions on ‘professional' cameras being used. There is no objection to pocket digital cameras and mobile phone cameras. High-end 35mm cameras, usually with detachable lenses, would normally qualify as ‘professional' type equipment, and these will not be permitted.

Will we get our money back if it rains?

No....the concert will go ahead come rain or shine.

How will we know if it has been cancelled?

It will be announced on the website, in local media and on radio and TV if possible.

If my tickets don't arrive in the post in time what do I do?

If your concert tickets do not arrive within 1 week of booking please inform the Box Office on 01283 841601. There will be a Box Office ticket collection point by the Main Entrance.

How many tickets are there for the show?

We are expecting up to 7,000 people for the concert.

If there are that many people, how can we be sure to see the stage?

There will be plenty of room. All areas of the picnic and viewing area offer a good view of the stage, although you must bear in mind that people may choose to stand up in front of you.

Will Harewood House be open to the public on the day?

Yes the House will not be open to the public on the day of the event.

Can we bring dogs?

With the exception of dogs assisting the visually impaired, no animals of any kind are allowed in the concert site. Please do not leave your pets in your car.

Can we bring a picnic?

Yes you are able to bring your own food and drink, including alcohol. Please note personal barbecues are not permitted. There will be designated picnic areas as the area in front of the stage will be for dancing only. There will be a variety of food stalls on site if you would prefer not to bring a picnic.

Are there any restrictions on the quantity of alcohol I can bring on site?

You are welcome to bring your own alcohol on site.  However there will be restrictions on the quantity.  As a guide we recommend 1 bottle of wine or 4 cans per person.  Neat bottles of spirits will not be permitted.  Please remember that no glass or cans are permitted on site at Harewood as licensing condition.  

What is the Programme for the evening?

6:00 pm – Car Park & Gates open
8:00 pm – Chill out set
9:00 pm – Interval with live  DJ 
9:30 pm – Dance Set with lasers
10:45 pm – Concert finishes

Will there be fireworks?

No, but there will be a fantastic laser show throughout the second half.

Will there be catering in the arena?

There will be a variety of food stalls on site as well as a licensed bar. Please see “Catering” section.

Can I show my ticket on my smart phone / tablet rather than printing it out?

Yes, as long as you are able to fully download the ticket PDF, and open it on the screen of your device, the scanners will be able to verify it. Please be aware however that mobile signal is limited at Harewood House.

I'm looking to bring a large party, can we arrive by coach?

Yes, please call the office on 01283 841601 to discuss your requirements.

Can I smoke at the concert?

As the event is completely open air, there are no legal restrictions on smoking, with the exception of marquee structures such as the Concert Shop. However, we would encourage you to consider your fellow picnickers before lighting up, and dispose of cigarette ends with care.

Can I ask for a shout-out?

Yes you can. Please email into info@revival-productions.co.uk with your photo which includes the shout-out message ready to show on the screen by 5pm on the Friday before the concert. No shout outs will be allowed on the concert day. 

What would you recommend bringing?

We recommend bringing appropriate clothing for the weather, and warm clothes even in good weather as the temperature often drops as darkness falls. The concert area and car parks are well lit, but it can be useful to bring a torch to help pack up your things and find your car.
