Burghley House Travel & Parking

Burghley House is 1 mile from Stamford and 20 minutes north of Peterborough on the A1.

Carparking is free, for both cars and coaches, and disabled parking is available near the concert arena. If you are packing your own picnic, please visit our Food & Drink and FAQ pages for further information.

The concert will be clearly signposted from all routes. Look out for the yellow “Classic Ibiza” signs as you get closer to the event. We will be posting further details of the access points to the venue nearer the time.


From the South:

  • Take the Carpenters Lodge exit on the A1 signposted to Burghley House, turn left on to the B1081 towards Stamford.
  • Follow the road alongside the park wall and the impressive Bottle Lodges entrance gates down towards Stamford.
  • Turn right just past the Bull & Swan Pub and continue for 1 mile along the Barnack Road (B1443). You will see the Visitors Entrance on the right.


From the North:

  • Follow the A1 south past Doncaster and Grantham.
  • Approximately 30 minutes south of Grantham you will reach the Stamford junction labelled Carpenters Lodge and signposted to Burghley House.
  • Turn left towards Stamford.
  • Follow the road past the estate wall and the impressive Bottle Lodges entrance gates.
  • Turn right just past the Bull & Swan Pub and continue for 1 mile along the Barnack Road (B1443). You will see the Visitors’ Entrance on the right.

If you are travelling by taxi, please give them the following information (book your taxi in advance as availability is always limited):

  • Your pick and drop off point will be within the park and will be clearly signposted.
  • Please do not allow your taxi driver to drop you off or pick you up on the main roads surrounding Burghley as this is dangerous.
  • Please advise your taxi to be back on site by 10.30 pm at the latest to avoid any delays with exiting traffic.
  • Your taxi will be directed to a numbered row to help you find it at the end of the night. A map will be posted on our website and sent to you in advance of the concert.

Big Green Coach drops you off and picks you up right by the event entrance, meaning that you don’t need to worry about driving or booking a taxi. You’ll also be doing your bit for the environment as travelling by Big Green Coach is carbon neutral.
